At heart, I'm a 70's rock & roll guy. I love groups that don't try to get too artsy or popular, but are just good rock bands. Like Vertical Horizon, Gin Blossoms, Bottle Rockets, and Fastball. Hootie & the Blowfish would fit there, but they've only done one good album (their first). And then there's Bruce.

You may be surprised at some of the groups I enjoy. I can appreciate their music without endorsing their lifestyle or general morality. Like Guns 'N Roses. I only like about six of their songs, but they are great ones, like "November Rain" and "Don't Cry." Kid Rock does very creative stuff.

For easy listening, and good piano, I'm a longtime fan of Phil Coulter.
